Halo 3 Suggestions

Bungie has promised that Halo 3 will be released by 2007. All around the internet people have been discussing ideas for Halo 3 and what they would like to be done differntly. So I have decided to make a list of everything that should be in Halo 3, All of these ideas I have found on forums and websites, and are summarized into a list. We all know Bungie will do a great job wiyh Halo 3, but untill its released all we can do is think about what would make the game great.

Weapons Ideas
 
Human Weaponry -
 
Pistols -
In my opinion the 2 pistols from the Halo series are quite different, meaning that both should be in Halo 3.
 
M6C Magnum Sidearm -
This weapon should be kept the same for the most part. The damage and accuary should be kept low, but the magazine capacity should go from 12 to 14.
The damage it does should be less than the M6D, but can be able to Dual Wield.should hold 14 rounds plus 56 in reserve
 
M6D Pistol Sidearm -
This pistol should do a lot more damage than the M6C, but should not have the capability of Dual Wielding, the scope should still be attached and used for percision rather surpressing fire. Should hold 12 rounds in the Magazine. Should hold 12 rounds plus 48 in reserve. Attachable upgrade that silences the shots.
 
M7 Caseless Sub Machine Gun(SMG) -
The SMG should be used mostly as an up close weapon and have heavier damage at a close range than it did in Halo 2.But the damage at far range should be close to nothing. Should hold 60 rounds plus 240 in reserve. No dual Wielding. Should work more like the AR in Halo CE
 
MA5B Assault Rifle -
The AR Should be more accurate than the AR in Halo CE. It should be used as a Mid Range weapon. Flashlight on the end of it. Mediem Range, Mediem Damage, All around good weapon
 
BR55 Rifle(Battle Rifle) -
can be set for single shot or burst fire. 4 head shots on burst or 7 on single shot will kill on MP. Uneffective at close range, but is accurate at long range. Has a x2 Scope. Better Than the AR at longe range. 36 rounds plus 108 in reserve.
 
M90 Shotgun-
Keep the same as the Halo 2 Shotty, except add a little more distance at mid range. no auto aim. 12 round plus 36 in reserve. Flash light on the barrel of the gun.
 
S2 AM Sniper Rifle -
If the multiplayer maps in Halo 3 are a lot larger than the ones in halo 2, than add another scope size of x15. That way there will be x2, x10 and x15. No auto aim. 4 rounds plus 20 in reserve. Bring back the Night vision from Halo CE for Night Battles in Halo 3.Have an attachment that you can aquire that makes the sniper shots less visible and another one that silences it.
 
M41 SSR MAV/AW Rocket Launcher -
Haevy damage should only be done to vehicles, the blast radius should be smaller and not be as effective against ground troops in multiplayer. Quicker Reload, No auto aim, slower shot consistancy.
 
M9 HE-DP Fragmentation Grenade -
same blast radius as Halo 2, and can hold the same amount. Somtimes a grenade may be a "dud" and not go off. Make the Explosion animation cooler and a larger "Boom"
 
30 Caliber stationary Turret -
no scope, unlimited ammo and continous fire. Has a long distance but does better damage at close range. The turret should now be mobile, and has to be set up in a fixed place, but can be deployed anywhere.
 
M7057 Flame Thrower -
Very effective up close and can start a brush fire when using it near trees or grassy areas. Depleats shields fast but you cannot run fast while firing it. The flame thrower could destroy a warthog or ghost or small vehicle if it fires at it long enough. Starts with 100 units of fuel and will depleat over time. enough damage to the weapon and it will explode.
 
Underslug Fragmentation Grenade Launcher - new
This will be connected to the bottom of some battle rifles and/or assault riffles, it allows you to hold 4 extra grenades and fire them twice as fast. Just press the grenade trigger in order to fire it.
 
Dual Wieldable Shotguns - new
These shotguns will have the power of about half of the regular shotgun, and have the ability to dual wield. They hold 6 rounds plus 24 in reserve. the shotguns are cocked instead of pumped.
 
Heavy Machine gun - new
The heavy machine gun would hold 100 rounds plus 200 in reserve. it would be accurate, but do more damage the closer the target is. very slow reload. Heavy damage. would be a special weapon and would be as scarce as a sniper rifle or rocket launcher.
 
Hand held Gauss Gun - new
a smaller version of the gauss gun on the warthog. It shoots very slow. it would hold 24 shots. 2 direct hits will completly lower enemies shields and than another shot will kill him. about 4 seconds between each shot. also effective to small vehicles like ghosts. damage is the same whether it is a headshot or a body or leg shot.
 
Remote Bombs - new
used as weapon, not grenade. can only hold one at a time. can be set on a wall, or floor and will detonate either when you press the detonator or someone shoots it with a human weapon.
 
combat knife - new
will give you a small advantage when fighting in close combat, but is not a huge difference. can attack quicker and do a little more damage.
 
Stationary Mortar - new
Can be fired across maps, determined by how long you hold down the right trigger. blast radius of about 2 to 3 frag grenades. slow reload, carry 16 missles. effective against groups of ground troops.
 
EMP Grenade - new
A direct hit to a vehicle will either disable its turret, imobilize it or shut it down completly. can hold 2 of these. If someone is to close to the detonation, it may lower his shields. Also Disables Remote Bombs and Plasma mines.
 
Covenant Weaponry -
 
Plasma Pistol -
This weapon was the one with the biggest problem in Halo 2. The weapon should instead of depleating your entire shield in one hit shoul only depleat about half. and if the full charge damage is decreased than the small shots should doa little more damage, or shoot more accuratly.
 
Plasma Rifle -
This time around, the plasma rifle should be a lot more stronger and a lot more accurate, but it should not have the ability to dual wield. It should act more like a rifle rather than a hand held un accurate pistol.
 
Brute Rifle -
The same rules apply as of the ones for the plasma rifle. The brute rifle should be less accurate but slightly more powerful.
 
Needler -
The needler should have a better homing system and should do slightly more damage. This weapon was close to useless in Halo 2. holds 30 needls plus 120 in reserve
 
Carbine -
Make the Carbine more accurate than the battle rifle, but less damaging. Can hold 18 rounds plus 72 in reserve. Grunts should be able to us the carbine in campaign.
 
Beam Rifle -
keep the same,except add upgrades that you can find and attach to it. one being a upgrade that takes away the purple beam when its shot. Its shoots 18 shots.
 
Brute Shot -
keep the same except make it so the melee damage does more than it did in Halo 2.
 
Fuel Rod Gun -
Should hold 5 blasts plus 20 in reserve. in multi player it should damage small vehicles and ground troops. One direct hit will lower half the enemies shield. It should do a lot of damage to Brutes and have a 1 second delay between each shot.
 
Energy Sword -
The energy sword should have the energy gauge even in multiplayer. The damage it does should remain the same or else the weapon would be useless. The energy sword's color should be customizable in the menu where you customize your character.
 
Plasma cannon -
The plasma cannon should'nt be stationary. It should be movable and have the ability to be set up anywhere. It must be carried and the person carrying it can't fire any weapon untill he puts it down.
 
Plasma grenade -
keep the same, except add the animation where the player clicks the button and it turns into bluish fire.
 
Sentinal Beam -
Make the beam more damageing and add an aim assist. this weapon was usless in Halo 2, but can be turned into a descent weapon.
 
Plasma Shotgun - new
The plasma shotgun would be charged instead of pumped. It would fire a green plasma burst about the size of a grenade. it can fire far, but would do less damge the farther away it gets.
 
Brute Pistol - new
Attacks like the Plasma Rifle in Halo 2 and can be dual wielded.
 
Needler Grenade - new
The needler Grenade should be a grenade that grunts use often,  You should be able to use them in campaign and multiplayer and hold 4 of them. They would be thrown and when they explode they would launch a bunch of little needles that normally come out of the needler.
 
Grunt Rifle - new
A small rifle that grunts use. They are like carbines but shoot slower. You can use them but they aren't that effective.
 
Jackal Shield- new
The Jackal Shield has been in both Halos but you never got an oppurtunity to use one. The shield would be able to dual wield and it would protect you from witch ever way you are facing from human weapons, some alien weapons and melee attacks, but would not protect your back.
 
Rapid Fire Plasma Gun - new
Would be the equivelant to the Human Machine gun, but less accurate but more damaging. Would be scarce in multiplayer.
 
Plasma Mortar - new
Equivelant to the Human Mortar. Less distance but bigger blast radius.
 
Plasma Mine - new
Detonates a Plasma grenade with twice the normal blast radius when some one goes near it. Carries as a weapon not grenade. Can nly carry one a a time.
